A Clean Solution is a local, family-owned and operated cleaning company dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty cleaning services. We provide professional carpet, tile & grout, hardwood, furniture, and area rug cleaning. Based in Wendell, NC, we’ve proudly served Wendell, Knightdale, Zebulon, Clayton, and the greater Wake County area for more than 25 years.

In October 2000, Scot Neal founded A Clean Solution as a carpet cleaning company. The goal was to fill a great need for a company to operate with ethical standards and use the safest cleaning agents and the most advanced cleaning methods.

Shortly after opening for business, Scot discovered a need in the oriental area rug cleaning industry and started educating himself through attending hands on rug cleaning seminars so that he could fill this need.

Scot has dedicated more than 20 years to studying fine woven rugs—their construction, fibers, dyes, and the proper methods for cleaning and maintaining these delicate textiles. Through extensive hands-on seminars and advanced training led by some of the world’s top rug-washing experts, he has developed his own specialized rug washing system.

This system is entirely different from the cleaning methods used for carpets, upholstery, or tile. It blends traditional, old-world rug washing techniques with modern technology to deliver a deep, thorough clean. Scot’s process is designed to remove soil from every fiber of the rug while preserving its beauty, structure, and value.
